On Saturday, the 20th of October a graduate conference hosted by the Department of Philosophy at the University of Tartu will take place.
The theme of this conference is “The Ethics of Conduct in Debate,” and will feature a variety of topics ranging from freedom of speech in universities to injustices of interpretation and the role played by generics in intractable disagreements. Dr. Robert Simpson from University College London will be our keynote speaker, presenting a talk entitled “Silencing Milo – On the Mission and Culture of a University.”
